Digital Security Identifier Number (DSIN)

Generation of a unique digital asset identifier for digital securities and tokenized assets.

The Digital Security Identifier Number (DSIN) is a unique digital asset identifier generated by DORRS when a symbol, tokenized security, digital asset, or blockchain-based financial instrument is created within the platform. DSIN is designed to serve as a standardized identity layer for digital securities and tokenized assets, similar to how the ISIN standard is used within traditional financial markets.

The purpose of the DSIN framework is to provide a globally unique identifier capable of tracking digital securities, tokenized assets, smart contracts, and real-world assets (RWAs) across multiple blockchains, tokenization platforms, custodians, exchanges, Alternative Trading Systems (ATSs), and decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems.

Each DSIN is structured using standardized components that may include jurisdiction identifiers, issuer references, asset-specific identifiers, and validation logic to ensure uniqueness and integrity across the DORRS ecosystem. The framework is designed to support interoperability between traditional financial infrastructure and blockchain-native markets while enabling normalized asset identification across fragmented digital asset environments.

DSIN identifiers may be associated with:

  • Tokenized securities
  • RWAs (Real World Assets)
  • Stablecoins
  • Private securities
  • Digital funds
  • Smart contracts
  • Blockchain-native assets
  • DeFi financial instruments

The DSIN standard is a core component of the DORRS identity and trust infrastructure and is intended to support institutional transparency, cross-chain interoperability, market data normalization, regulatory mapping, and standardized digital asset identification throughout global digital capital markets.
